Currently the RP setting is very broad with it laid out in regions of the United States and England (where a new Pool is under construction). Beneath these are the areas the Pools affect within those regions as well as the major Pools themselves. You have the option of choosing where you want to begin and go. The goal is to expand the board with places that end up being popular, making them permanent forums, and also allowing freedom for people to start RP wherever they choose.

Dots on the map indicate cities of size within the Pools effective area that have a smaller pool within the city.

There are five currently active Yeerk Pools of large size in the United States. In smaller areas that the Yeerks have branched out into beyond the largest there are small, unnamed Pools that have been built to service those particular areas. These smaller Pools usually required a decent population in the area to be built, otherwise there is one higher ranked Yeerk placed into the region with a portable Kandrona and any others who are within the area will organize with them for feeding rounds. Also active around Earth is the Pool Ship, which remains in orbit.

There is new construction ongoing in England outside of London to construct the first of the non-American Pools.
  • Sekol Kon, Orbit
  • Asri Ful, Western U.S. Seaboard, California
  • Edir Rel, Western U.S. Seaboard, Oregon & Washington
  • Caaye Klir, Eastern U.S. Seaboard, Georgia
  • Drohe Asse, Eastern U.S. Seaboard, New Jersey
  • Hev Lloph, Midwest U.S., Iowa & Wisconsin & Illinois

Mag-Lev Train lines run deep underground between Asri Ful and Edir Rel in the west and there is a single line on the other side of the country that runs from Hev Lloph to Drohe Asse and then ends at Caaye Klir.

There are multiple cities which fall into the jurisdiction of each Pool's zone of control. Locations within these cities will have multiple access points to the Yeerk Pool either through actually having the Pool underneath them if they were near the center point of the coverage zone or an access point to the local Mag-Lev Train. These include:
  • Asri Ful : Bakersfield, CA; Fresno, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Monterey, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; San Bernadino, CA; San Diego, CA; Santa Maria, CA
  • Edir Rel : Salem, OR; Medford, OR; Portland, OR; Olympia, WA; Seattle, WA; Vancouver, WA

While the Resistance may only have two large areas that they claim as bases, these primarily serve for those who cannot go amongst society such as the Hork-Bajir or the humans who are on the Yeerks Kill/Capture lists and incapable of morphing. Originally they were protected by little but the areas they chose to have them in but in recent years these bases are protected with created, borrowed, and stolen tech. This protection includes both Dracons and Shredders, variations of Gleet Bio-Filters that detect Yeerks to set off an alarm, and Chee holographic tech.

Beyond these two main bases, the Resistance survives through small groups that set up in certain areas of the country. Often these are in abandoned buildings or, rarer, in the homes of Resistance members who are unknown to be part of the group.
